water is unavailable during snow cover
there is only utility water in the vicinity

Po deštích v létě 2012 tekla voda vedle sestupové cesty na Italskou stranu hřebene asi 50 výškových metrů pod sedlem. V případě nouze možnost sestupu pro vodu k nedaleké Neue Porze Hütte (sestup asi 1 km a 200 výškových metrů).
