Due to the fact that during the summer the mountain hut is used for grazing cows, the best time to visit is the winter season (although in summer of course the bacha will let you sleep in the attic), the mountain hut is in an ideal position for the winter crossing of the ridge. However, I would not go there for New Year's Eve, it is likely that it will already be occupied.

Vzhledem k tomu že přes léto je salaš využívána při pasení krav, je k návštěvě nejvhodnější zimní období (i když v létě vás samozřejmě bača nechá přespat v podkroví), salaš je v ideální poloze na zimní přechod hřebene. Na silvestra bych se tam ovšem nechystal, je pravděpodobné že už bude obsazena.
