Main info
Open shelter on the trail from Gudel village to Salpa Bhanjyang saddle (3350 m) on the trek from Lukla to Tumlintgar. It is a classic porter's shelter dry-walled with stones, a wooden roof covered with stone slabs, a plain inside with some hay to spread out the bivouac, a fire pit in the corner near the open wall.
The water is just off the trail just behind the property towards the Salpa Bhanjyang saddle, about 100 m in a waterfall in a distinct trough.
Absolutely anytime, in November 2010 we did not meet any tourist on our 12 day journey from Lukla to Tumlintgar, the journey was a wonderful relaxation after visiting the Everest region.
The property is located right on the trail between the villages of Gudel and Share, about an hour's drive up the gentle saddle behind Gudel.
