Nachází se těsně pod vrcholem hlavního hřebene Hrubého Jeseníku, pod vrcholem Pec, asi 2 km od Ztracených skal nad sedlem Skřítek. Bouda má malou předsíň a místnost se stolkem a lavicemi. Okna nejsou zasklená, bouda je otevřená

Celoročně podle otrlosti cestovatelů.Bouda nenabízí takový konfort jako útulna na Jelení studánce jekikož nemá zasklená okna ani neméá dveře

Pity there is no attic, also benches too narrow to sleep on them, one must sleep on the ground...
