The ruins of Likavka Castle attract pilgrims entering the Choc Mountains as a magnet. Especially when you arrive in Ruzomberok in the evening and you plan to stay at the castle. Well, do not panic and bypass locked gates behind the castle through rock tunnel to enter the upper courtyard - where there are no tours - and choose one of the richly concreted Gothic and Renaissance rooms. Otherwise, the rescue of monuments takes different forms, but in most cases it fatally disrupts the spirit of the place (unless it disrupts advised accommodated 100 persons :-)).
