An old hayloft with a feeding trough on the edge of the forest near the Mordovna peak on the red-marked E3 long-distance hiking trail (which is also part of the Trail Through Bohemia). In the summer of 2026, the hayloft was practically empty; the wooden floor beneath the still-solid roof offered enough space for two people to sleep comfortably—and, in an emergency, perhaps even more after a quick cleanup.

The nearest source of water is probably in the village square in Petrovice.

Probably anytime, but I'd rather not startle the deer there in the winter.

Follow the red trail markers of the E3 long-distance trail from Petrovice to the Mordovna signpost. The hayloft is located at the edge of the forest, about another 150 meters along the red trail toward Krásný Les.
