This is the official shelter on the ridge of Děčínský Sněžník, right next to the red E3 long-distance trail. It is an A-frame wooden structure with a large bunk bed inside that sleeps about 4 people and a front area with benches. There is also an open hiking shelter in front of the shelter. Please note: Fires are prohibited here!

There doesn't seem to be any water in the area!

Probably anytime, but given the popularity of the E3 trail (part of the Trail Through the Czech Republic) and the facility’s limited capacity, I’d expect it to be fully booked during the high season.

The building is located near the “Pod Koňskou hlavou” hiking signpost, at the intersection of the green hiking trail and the red E3 trail at the trailhead for Děčínský Sněžník from Děčín.
