A small log cabin with a tin roof. Above the partially covered entrance is an opening to the attic. Inside there is a stove with a hob and shelves with basic kitchenware. The sleeping area is in the attic on side bunks (capacity 4 people). Additional people can sleep on the wooden floor in an emergency. In front of the building, there is a fireplace, a table, and benches. Along the side of the cabin, there is a woodshed under the roof.

The modified spring is located on a slope below the hut.

The chalet is located near the blue tourist trail, not far from the "Sedlo Poľana" signpost. From the saddle, an educational trail leads across the Kýčera peak (956 m). In the next saddle after the traverse, there is a marked turnoff to the chalet along the contour line. It is about 800 m from the yellow tourist trail to the chalet.
