Krásná bivakovací chata na západním úbočí markantního kopce Hengill ve stejnojmenné termální oblasti. Leží při červeně značeném chodníku z Hveradalir do Dyradalur. Místo klidně pro 10 osob, výborný stav. Boudu udržuje islandská elektrárenská společnost. Obdobná bouda byla i přes kopec v údolí Reykjadalur ale ta bohužel vyhořela.

červeně značená pěšina obepíná pohoříčko Hengill po západním okraji, je dlouhá cca 15 km a bouda je přibližně uprostřed. Více v mapce.
