Two shepherd's huts on the slopes of Čierne kameň above the village of Vyšná Revúca, close to the yellow sign pointing below Ploska. One shepherd's hut is locked, the other (less comfortable, of course) is freely accessible. The inner space (about 3 x 5 m) is divided into two rooms, one with an open fireplace, the other just a mess.

The best time to visit is outside of the main season and also outside of the shepherding season. Moreover, Veľká Fatra is at its most beautiful at the end of October anyway.
From Vyšná Revúca follow the yellow trail heading to the saddle between Ploska and Čierny kamen, about halfway up, the shepherd's huts are far visible on the right under the trail.

Prechádzal som okolo v septembri (září) 2010 a odomknutý salaš bol vo výbornom stave. V prednej miestnosti piecka s možnosťou varenia, nejaké riady a hrnčeky, lavice a stôl. V zadnej železné postele s matracami. Ale bolo vidno, že ešte pred pár dňami bola v blízkosti ohrada pre ovce, takže je možné, že to tako mohli zanechať pastieri.
Dolní salaš zamčená, horní odemčená a pěkně vyuzená (viz foto z 17. 11. 2008), ale nevím jak dlouho to tak zůstane.
Salas na Magurach je vdaka svojej polohe naozaj uzasny, hlavne aby tam chodili skutocni milovnici hor a starali sa o poriadok, nie ako na niektorych salasoch!!! Tymto pozdravujem nasich priatelov zo Silvestra'07 na Mandoline...
